Lydia L. DeWitt of Bowling Green, passed away Sunday March 30, 2014. Lydia was born on December 14, 1926
in Chicago IL. to Emil and Otillie Lerchenstein. Lydia married Roy P. DeWitt on July 5, 1947.
Surviving are two sons Roy David, Kansas City, MO, and Daniel Jon (Betsy), Bowling Green, daughter Beth
(Thomas) Spann, Independence, OH: four grandchildren David (Marie) DeWitt, Christopher Spann, Jacob and
Grant DeWitt , one great-grandson Michael DeWitt, and two great, great grandchildren who lovingly called
her Grammy.
Lydia was living at Heritage Corner at the time of her death. The family would like to thank them for
their kindness, caring and the friendship that they provided.
Visitation will be Tuesday April 1, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in Bowling Green’s
Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m.
on Wednesday also at the funeral home with burial to follow at Oak Grove Cemetery. Rev. John Randall will
officiate.
Memorial contributions can be given to BGHS Bobcat Hockey or Wood County Humane Society.
