Lois J. Kendall, 88, of North Baltimore, passed away at 12:02 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2014 at Briar
Hill Health Campus, North Baltimore.
She was born on June 26, 1925, in Wood County to the late John and Mary (Gingrich) Creps. She married
Donald Charles Kendall on July 25, 1942, and he preceded her in death on November 16, 1985.
Lois is survived by her son Ronald (Donna) Kendall of Sterling Heights, MI; her daughters: Mary (Tom)
Deahl of Martinsville, IL and Cynthia (Mike) Wymer of North Baltimore; her 7 grandchildren, 10
great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her brothers: Lloyd and Wayne Creps; her sisters: Fern Drummer and Helen
Green.
Lois retired after 20+ years as the Head Cook from the North Baltimore School System.
She was a member the Church of the Good Shepherd United Methodist Church and of the Order of Eastern
Star, both in North Baltimore. She enjoyed making ceramics, taking trips, but most of all loved spending
time with family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, January 10, 2014, at the Church of the Good Shepherd
United Methodist Church, North Baltimore, with Reverend Susan Kronbach officiating. Burial will be in
New Maplewood Cemetery, North Batlimore.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m., Thursday at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
