Lloyd J. Rolf, age 90, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest
Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.
He was born on November 4, 1923 in Woodville, OH to Clarence and Mabel (Obermeyer) Rolf. On April 27,
1957 he married Donna Welling in Pemberville, OH, and she survives.
Lloyd was enlisted in the United States Army from 1943-1964 and was honorably discharged as an E-6 Staff
Sargent. He was also employed by ODOT as a truck mechanic for 12 years.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH and Troy-Webster American Legion Post
#240, Luckey, OH. In his spare time he enjoyed fixing things for everyone and was known as a general
handyman.
Lloyd is survived by his loving wife of 56 years: Donna, children: Daniel Rolf of Pemberville, OH,
Kathleen (Gordon) Moore and Donald (Gloria) Rolf both of Perrysburg, grandchildren: Kurt (Julie) Moore
of Oregon, OH, Craig Moore of Chicago, Jennifer (Chris) Clark of Oregon, OH, Megan Rolf and DJ Rolf,
both of Perrysburg, Joseph Carper of UT, great-grandchildren: Nolan Moore, Brayden Moore and Brynn Clark
and sister: Carol Ernsthausen of Pemberville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, great-grandsons: Dakota and Ashton Carper, brothers: Dale and
Marlyn "Curly" Rolf.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. from the Marsh Funeral
Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 11
a.m. from St. John’s Lutheran Church, Stony Ridge, OH, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until
time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Daniel Beaudoin. Interment will be in Troy Twp. Cemetery,
Luckey, OH. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery
committal services.

Northwest Ohio, Project Lifesaver or Troy-Webster American Legion Post #240.
