Linda L. Yoder, age 62, of Helena, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday (April 16, 2014) at her home
surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on April 7, 1952 in Fremont, Ohio to the late Harold W. and Beatrice J. (Erdman) Posey.
Linda married Donald G. Yoder on February 7, 1976 in Gibsonburg, Ohio.
Surviving Linda is her loving husband of 38 years, Don; sister-in-law, Judy Eddington of Findlay, Ohio;
brother-in-law, Jim Yoder of Amsden, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her stepson, John A. Yoder.
Linda was a 1970 graduate of Gibsonburg High School, and then attended Terra Community College and earned
an Associate’s Degree. She then worked for Behavioral Connections as a support specialist for many
years.
Linda was the secretary and treasurer for women’s ministry of the Rock Solid Church of God, where she
attended church, and was a member of S.C.R.A.P. for 28 years.
Friends will be received from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday (April 19, 2014) at Barndt Funeral Home in
Wayne, Ohio, where a Celebration of Life service will start at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday (April 19, 2014)
with Pastor Chuck Snelling and Pastor Larry Bennett officiating.
Burial will be in Metzger Cemetery at a later date.
