Letitia "Tish" Dean, age 79, of Wayne, Ohio passed away peacefully Monday (September 23, 2013) at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on July 13, 1934 in St. Louis, Missouri to the late Lawrence E. & Dorothy G. (Puleo) Dean.
Surviving are Daughters, Debra (Dave) Lyons of Wayne, Ohio, Deana Shank, Darlene Kern, both of Bradner, Ohio; Sister, Cindy (Robert) Keiffer of Risingsun, Ohio; Grandchildren, Donnie (Sandra) Lyons, Darl Lyons, LeeAnn Myers, Cassy Shank, Dale Kern, Regan (Nate) Braun, Brad (Gina) Youngs, Nakia (Scott) Reese, Desirae (Tye) Buchman; Great-Grandchildren, Madison, Shade, Danielle, Khilee, Zayne, Skylynn, Annabel, Harlee, Nick, Tahia, Colton, Nathan; Great-Great-Granddaughter, ElliAyna Mae; Niece, Angela (Brian) Coakley; Nephew, Greg (Karla) Keiffer; Great-Nieces, Meghan, Kate; Great-Nephews, Brian, William, Abraham.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Dorothy; Son, Dale E. "Buddy" Kern; Daughter, Denise Young.
Tish devoted her life to being a homemaker, mother, and grandmother.
She was a caregiver for 75+ children throughout the years.
She was a part of the Ladies Rack and Cue, and she also enjoyed coaching softball.
A Memorial Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday (October 6, 2013) at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio with a bereavement luncheon to follow at the Albert Bowe American Legion Post in Bradner, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Denise Young Memorial Poker Run Fund.
