Laura L. Bomia, 76, of North Baltimore, died at 10:42 p.m. Sunday, August 25, 2013, at the Toledo Hospital.
She was born on February 21, 1937, in Hancock County to the late Gaylord L. and Nola (Jimmison) Rader. She married Robert Bomia on July 14, 1956, and he survives.
Laura is also survived by her sons: Ron (Cynthia McMahan) Bomia of North Baltimore and James (Geri) Bomia of Bloomdale; her daughter: Tammie (James) Hutchison of North Baltimore; her brothers: Johnny Rader of Texas, Larry Rader of North Baltimore, Ron Rader of North Baltimore and Danny David Rader of MS; sisters: Sally Matias of Deshler, Bonnie Cage of Lima, Lucinda Newman of Lima and Sharon Tefft of McComb; her grandchildren: Shane Bomia, Ryan Bomia and Erica Thomas; her great-grandchildren: Ryan Bomia, Carter Thomas, Kenna Thomas and Chad Bomia.
She was preceded in death her brothers: Darrel Dean Rader, Gayle Sherman Rader and Thomas Eugene Rader; and her sister: Barbara Nickols.
Laura retired from Continental Structural Plastics (former Budd Co.) and had worked prior at ABCO and R.C.A.
She loved cooking, being a mother and grandmother, but most of all loved spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Jon Reynolds officiating. Burial will be in New Maplewood Cemetery, North Baltimore.
Visitation will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
