Larry Rothenbuhler, 66, of Jerry City, Ohio, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2014.
He was born February 26, 1948 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Paul and Mary Ellen (Bressler) Rothenbuhler. He
married Pamela York on September 18, 1993 and she survives in Jerry City.
Larry worked for Public Works in Bowling Green.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 0539. He enjoyed antique tractor shows, camping and golf
carting.
Larry was in the United States Navy from 1968-1972 and proudly served in Vietnam.
He was a family man and his greatest joy came from family outings and attending his grandchildren’s
events.
Along with his wife Pam, Larry is survived by sons, Ron (Donna) Rothenbuhler of Raleigh, North Carolina,
Todd (Melissa) York of Ironton, Ohio and Ralph (Kelly) Cox of Ironton, Ohio; daughters, Tammy (Rod)
Mahler of Portage, Ohio, Beth (PD) Rase of Ironton, Ohio and Crystal (Jason) Barringer of Stryker, Ohio;
brothers, Terry (Deb) Rothenbuhler of Cygnet, Ohio, Gary (Carol) Rothenbuhler of Portage, Ohio and Kerry
(Kim) Rothenbuhler of Cygnet, Ohio; sister Sheryl (John) Wright of Bloomdale, Ohio; and 14
grandchildren, Sean, Kayleb, Alli, Tristan, Karlie, Kaylie, Kadin, Shaylin, Will, Gavin, Evan, Tyson,
Emily and Molly.
Visitation for Larry will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 5 to 8 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located
in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Kenny Reynolds
will be officiating.
Burial will follow at Jerry City Cemetery, where the Wood County Honor Detail will be conducting full
military honors.
Memorial contributions may be given in Larry’s honor to the family for an education fund for his
grandchildren.
