Kirk A. Fritz of Perrysburg passed on Friday, July 4 at 10:17 p.m. He was 61.
He was born August 12, 1952 to the late Harold Richard and Mary Lou Lybarger Fritz. He married Judith L.
Smith Nov. 2, 1991 and she survives in Perrysburg.
Kirk was a department manager for Lowes, a sales associate for Bass Pro Shop and he was also a member of
Perrysburg Alliance Church.
Through his years, he had been a Boy Scout leader, little league coach and umpire and had coached summer
baseball for Perrysburg High School. His favorite pastimes included riding and racing ATVs, fishing,
golfing and boating.
Additional survivors include five children: Eric Fritz of NC; Michael (Laura) Fritz of Ohio; and Russell
(Jenn) Vascik of Ohio; Jennifer (Richard) Hunter of Ohio; and Nicole (Jeff) Noe of Germany; and 13
grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Dawn Fritz.
Memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 12, at Perrysburg Alliance Church with Pastor Mark
Gorgans officiating.
A private burial of his cremated remains will be at a later date.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
