Kenneth-R.-Corbin-obitKenneth Ray Corbin, age 85, of Wayne, Ohio, passed away Thursday (February 2, 2012) at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born September 15, 1926 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Amos L., and Florence B. (Craven) Corbin. He married Helen Irene Snyder on October 2, 1948 in Battlecreek, Michigan. She passed away on June 4, 2005.
Ken is survived by Sons, Kenneth "Butch" Corbin, Daniel R. Corbin both of Wayne; 8 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen; daughter, Alice Green; brothers, Paul, James; granddaughter Lori; and pet dog Lady.
Ken was retired from M.A.P. Corp where he worked in maintenance. He served his country proudly in the Air Force during the Korean War and was a life member of the Albert Bowe American Legion Post #338 in Bradner and Amvets #711 in Bowling Green. He was a member of Kings Parish Church in Bradner.
Friends will be received on Sunday (February 5, 2012) from 2 to 6 p.m. at Barndt Funeral Home where a Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday (February 6, 2012) at 11 a.m., with Pastor Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will be at Graham Cemetery with military rights performed by the Albert Bowe American Legion. A bereavement luncheon will follow back at the American Legion in Bradner.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the family. Kens family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the staff at the Bridge Hospice Care Center for the wonderful care of their father.
