Kenneth C. Morlock

Kenneth C. Morlock, age 80, of Wayne, OH, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 in Toledo, OH.
He was born on November 25, 1933 in Perrysburg, OH to Ernest and Frieda (Christen) Morlock. On January
21, 1956 he married Donna Dierksheide in New Rochester, OH and she survives.
For over 35 years he was a welder for Atlas Crankshaft, Fostoria, OH retiring in 1988. Ken was also a
lifelong farmer and raised pigs.
His memberships included: St Paul Lutheran Church, New Rochester, OH, where he was very active; Wood
County Coon Hunters Club; Wood County Pheasants Forever and the NRA.
He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing, vegetable gardening and loved dogs. In his spare time he enjoyed
sports and watching his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.
While enlisted in the United States Army he served his country proudly from 1956-1958.
Surviving Ken is his loving wife of 58 years: Donna Morlock; children: Karen (Keith) Brueggemeier of
Pemberville, Mark (Susan) Morlock of Wayne, Jeff (Cindy) Morlock of Bowling Green, Marla (Jim) Suda of
Darien, IL; grandchildren: Kevin (Monica), Kyle (Kate), Amanda (Kyle), Marisa, Sara, Chelsey, Nathan,
Jenna and Eric; great-grandson: Mitchell; sister: Shirley (Leon) Chambers, Bowling Green; and brothers:
Dale (Mary) Morlock of Bowling Green, Bob (JoAnn) Morlock of Pemberville and Don Morlock of Bowling
Green.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister: Lois Shaffer; and brother: Glen Morlock.
Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. from the Marsh
Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at 11 a.m. from St. Paul Lutheran Church,
New Rochester, OH, where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Officiating will be Rev. Dale Schaefer.
Interment will be in Fish Cemetery, Pemberville, OH.
There will be a bereavement luncheon served at St. Paul Lutheran Church immediately following the
cemetery committal services.
