Julie A. Reitzel, age 61, of Perrysburg, OH passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Monday,
June 16, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Unit.
She was born on June 29, 1952 in Toledo, OH to Commodore and Mabel (Helmbrecht) Rumer. On February 3,
1973 she married Ronald Reitzel in Toledo, OH and he survives.
Julie was a homemaker and in her spare time enjoyed bowling, golf, traveling, flower gardening, cooking
and baking. She was an animal lover especially cats and dogs. Her favorite time of the year was
Christmas and being around her family and friends. Julie was noted for being an avid Cleveland Indians
fan and also a big fan of OSU.
Julie is survived by her loving husband of 41 years: Ron, children: April (Randy) Prater of Archbold, OH,
Jason Reitzel of Toledo, Ohio, Justen (Kristy) Reitzel of Morenci, MI, brothers: Ronnie (Sally) Rumer of
Rossford, OH, Johnny (Peggy) Rumer of Homosassa, FL, Dave (Beth) Rumer of Perrysburg, OH, Jim (Pauline)
Rumer of Arlington, TX, sister: Sue Haas of Toledo, OH and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Dick Rumer, sisters: Barb Spencer and Jackie DuShane.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marsh
Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 11 a.m. from St. John’s Lutheran Church,
Stony Ridge, OH with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be Rev.
James Budke. Interment will be in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, OH.
There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal
services.
