Julia U. Rentz, 95, formerly of Peeksill, New York, passed away into eternal peace on September 22, 2013 in Bowling Green, Ohio.
The eldest of three sisters, she was born to John and Eva (Wasienko) Urban of Watervliet, New York on May 13, 1918.
Mrs. Rentz became the beloved wife of Joseph F. Rentz whom she married in 1938. They were able to have 65 years together before he predeceased her in 2003.
She was a graduate of Watervliet High School (N.Y.) and from Mildred Elley Business School. She held positions as Classified Manager with the Peekskill Evening Star Newspaper and Administrative Assistant at Ladycliffe Academy for Girls High School.
As a member of the Church of the Assumption in Peekskill, she was involved in the choir.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Dr. Audrey L. Rentz and two sisters, Anne Urban and Pauline Bruggeman.
DUNN FUNERAL HOME is handling arrangements.
There will be no visitation and a private burial will take place at Toledo Memorial Park, Sylvania.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Aloysius Church where Julia was a member.
