MOYOCK, N.C. - Judith Bernadette Teller, longtime friend and wife of Robert R. Teller, peacefully traveled to the Lord's house on October 9th, 2013.
Not only was she a devoted wife and mother, she was the grandmother of three wonderful children whom she cherished with all her heart. Two things she most enjoyed in life were camping and spending time with her family.
Jude is survived by her husband Robert, two wonderful daughters, Kristie Lawrence and Elizabeth Teller, her son-in-law Robert Lawrence (whom she would bake French apple pies for), and three grandchildren, Emily, Jesse and Jacob all in the Tidewater, VA area. Also surviving are a brother, Doug DeWese and wife Jan of Bowling Green, Ohio, a sister, Marilyn Hartman and husband Jim of Pemberville, Ohio, brother-in-law, William Eynon, sister-in-law, Sue Kauffman, several nieces and nephews and many good friends.
Jude was preceded in death by her father, J. Wayne DeWese, mother Luella DeWese and sister Carol Eynon.
Jude was a 1962 graduate of Eastwood High School.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 11 a.m. in St. Stephens, Martyr Catholic Church, 1544 Battlefield Blvd S, Chesapeake, VA.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to either the Khedive Shrine Center-Hospital Transportation Fund or to the Cancer Care Foundation of Tidewater.
H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Chesapeake Chapel is handling arrangements.
