Joyce E. Gilliland, 87, of McClure, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Flower Hospital, Sylvania.

She was born September 22, 1926, in Weston Township to the late Bryce and Norma (Rowland) Brown.
For 48 years Joyce owned and operated a beauty shop in McClure.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, McClure. She was a member of the American Legion
Auxiliary unit#332. When Joyce was able she would help out many of the older members of her community by
taking them to doctors appointments and grocery shopping. She was always willing to help out anyone who
was in need. She will be greatly missed.
Joyce is survived by several cousins along with many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, McClure,
with Pastor Mark English officiating
Interment will follow at Hockman Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday at Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure, and one hour prior to the
funeral at the church on Tuesday.
