Joseph B. Judge, 80, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013 after a brief
illness with his loving family by his side.He was the first member of the Judge family born in the United
States on March 15, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois to Leo and Bridget (Carroll) Judge, who were immigrants from
Ireland. He married Karen Klingbeil on November 18, 1961 and she survives in Bowling Green.He attended Mt.
Carmel High School in Chicago. He then went on to graduate from DePaul University where he was the president
of his fraternity Alpha Delta Sigma his junior year.He served two years active duty in the United States
Army.Joseph was extremely proud of his Irish Heritage. He was an avid sports fan taking special interest in
the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Chicago Bears and Chicago Bulls.Along with his wife, Karen, Joseph is
survived by his son, Leo Judge of Brownsburg, Indiana; daughters, Patricia Tavernier of Tavares, Florida,
Theresa Booth of Rossford, Ohio, Charlene (Tim) Bandy of Swanton, Ohio, Maureen (Dennis) Jacoby of
Perrysburg, Ohio, Christine (Kyle) Dubois of Columbus, Ohio, Colleen (Shane) Irvin of Bowling Green, Ohio;
and 17 grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents and grandchildren, Austin Bandy, Lilly Irvin
and Lucy Irvin.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. at DUNN
FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street.The funeral
service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at 11 a.m. at the Dunn Funeral Home. Rev. John Randall
will officiate. Interment will follow the funeral services at Otsego Cemetery, where the Wood County Honor
Detail will provide Military Honors.Memorial contributions may be given in Joseph’s honor to The Honor
