John J. Deuble, 85, of Toledo, died September 24, 2013, at Bay Park Hospital, Oregon, OH.
He was born January 26, 1928 in Luckey, OH, to John A. and Louise (Minning) Deuble. On June 17, 1950, he married Margaret "Peg" Heckman at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pemberville, OH.
He graduated from Troy-Luckey High School. He served in the Army in Japan at the end of World War II.
John is survived by his wife Peg, Toledo; daughter Kathleen, Toledo; son David, Oregon; sisters Anna Louise Witker, Bradner, and Hazel, Perrysburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Stella and Sister Esther Deuble.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at The Lutheran Home, 131 N. Wheeling Street, Toledo, OH.
