Joan G. Myers, 78, of Waterville, OH, died August 2, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, OH.
She was born June 11, 1935 in Detroit, MI, to John and Viola Glinski.
Joan was a 1953 graduate of St. Francis de Sales in Detroit, MI. She then went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Detroit in 1957 and her Master of Arts from the University of Illinois in 1959.
Joan had a career in radio, TV and real estate in Bowling Green, OH. She was District Vice President of The Ohio Association of Realtors, from 1983-84. She moved to Waterville, OH in 1992 and was a real estate appraiser until her retirement.
She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Maumee, OH.
Joan is survived by her sons, Evan Myers of Cayce, SC and Brian Myers of Waterville, OH, and granddaughter, Jennifer Myers of South Bend, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rita Leslie, and brothers, Paul and Albert Glinski.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd. Waterville, OH. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home at 10 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial following Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph's Parish, Maumee, OH.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
