Jerome (Jerry) Grzybowski, 74, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013.
He was born on March 5, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio to William and Louise (Dziedzic) Grzybowski.
He is survived by his wife, Mary (LaGesse), daughter, Christa M. Grzybowski and brother, Patrick (Viola) Grzybowski.
Jerry had a life-long passion for music. At age 8, he started accordion lessons at Trick Brothers and performed until March 2010. He was always ambitious. He had a Blade paper route and served as an altar boy at St. Francis on Cherry Street.
He graduated from Woodward High School in 1957 and went to work at Libbey Owens Ford. When laid off, he enlisted in the Marine Corps and served as a Bandsman. He returned to L.O.F and retired in April 1990.
In October of 2000 he became a Master Mason of Wood County Lodge 112. In November of 2000 he became a Noble of Zenobia Temple of Toledo, OH.
He enjoyed his retirement and spent winters at his home in Southern Louisiana, traveling and playing music.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 6 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster Street. Rev. Robert McAfee will officiate. Visitation will be begin at 5 p.m. Masonic Services will be conducted at 5:45 p.m.
