Jerald D. "Jerry" Bailey, 67, of Findlay, OH, died Friday, July 13, 2012 at 9:38 a.m. at Bridge Hospice Care, Bowling Green, Ohio.
He was born July 17, 1944 to Ollie and Christina (Poe) Bailey, in Kenton, Ohio. He married Gwendolyn Sharp on March 3, 1974 in Lima, Ohio, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dr. Dean Bailey of Perrysburg, Ohio; grandsons: Jacob and Samuel Bailey of Perrysburg, Ohio; and four sisters, Janet (Richard) Elliot of Lancaster, Ohio; Gloria Cassity of Tennessee; Sharon (Dave) Hamilton of Kenton; and Brenda (Dick) Ziegler of Alger, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry was retired from Honda at Indian Lake.
He graduated from Kenton High School in 1962 and was a graduate of Bluffton College.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2012 at Schindewolf Stevens Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. Pastor Wanda Werking will officiate. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday.
At the request of Jerry, cremation will follow the funeral service.
Memorials may be made to Bridge Hospice Care of Findlay/Bowling Green.
