Jeffrey Jon Drake, 49, of Goldfield Ranch near Fountain Hills, Arizona passed away Sunday. July 21, 2013 of congestive heart failure complicated by valley fever.
Born in Toledo, Ohio, Jeffrey grew up in Perrysburg and Bowling Green, Ohio, and graduated from Eastwood High School, in 1982. He attended the University of Toledo until becoming employed as a disc jockey at clubs and weddings in the local area.
In 1989, he moved to Arizona and was an electrician for computerized electrical controls, including a six-month contract in Australia.
He will be loved and missed by his parents, Barbara and Larry Drake, his furry friends Nobody and Foxy of Goldfield Ranch, Arizona, brothers, Larry Drake Jr. (his wife Theresa and their son Zachariah) of Conway, MO. brother, Darryl Ray Drake of Toledo, Ohio, aunt, Emma Burch (husband M. Jeffrey) of Fountain Hills, uncle, James R. Drake (his wife Linda) of Toledo, Ohio; uncle, Paul R. Drake (his wife Becky) of Oregon, Ohio; and several other nieces and nephews and many friends.
A Memorial Ceremony will be held at later date.
