Jean L. West, 84, of Bowling Green, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at the University of Toledo Medical Center following a sudden illness.
She was born in Portage Township on July 7, 1928 to Delmore Ray and Bertha Martha (Brim) Davis. She married Lewis E. West on July 14, 1948 and he preceded her in death.
Jean and her family have owned and operated apartment rentals in Bowling Green for many years.
She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and attended both Portage and Bowling Green Schools.
She is survived by one son, Denis (Laurel) West of Bowling Green, grandchildren, Zachary (Alicia) West of Beavercreek, OH, Elliot (Julie) West of Neapolis, OH, great-grandchildren, Aiden, Eleanor and Nathaniel, brother, Harold (Betty) Davis of Oak Ridge, TN, and step-brother, John Davis of Los Angeles, CA.
Also preceding her in death were her son, David L. West and step-mother, Matilda.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held at DUNN FUNERAL HOME located in Bowling Green's Historical District at 408 West Wooster Street. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
