Janet L. Tiell, 73, of Weston, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at Bridge Hospice.
Janet was born in Upper Sandusky to the late Robert and Mary Williams.
Janet was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and great-grandmother. She also enjoyed ceramics, flowers, yard work, dancing, singing, baking, and playing her banjo.
Janet was a devoted member of St. Louis Catholic Church. She was also a member of Circle 8 Western Square Dance Club, Moose Lodge and Eagles.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Carl; daughters: Judy Tiell of Toledo, OH, Janette Tiell of Tontogany, OH; sons: Jeffrey (Michelle) Tiell, Rudolph, OH, Joseph (Lisa) Tiell, Weston, OH, Jon Tiell, of Weston, OH, Jason (Mary Jane) of Weston, OH, Jared Tiell, of Weston, OH, 13 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, sisters: Linda Perkins, Sharon Himes; brothers: Robert Williams and Charles "Tom" Williams.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son: James Tiell; brothers: Gene, Danny, and Donald.
Friends and family will be received at the Wright-Habegger Funeral Home, 24084 West 2nd St., Grand Rapids OH , 43522, on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.. with a scripture service at 7 p.m. Prayers will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. at Wright-Habegger Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Louis Catholic Church, 22792 Defiance Pike, Custar, OH at 10 a.m. with Father David Tscherne officiating. Burial will follow at St Louis Cemetery.
Memorial contributions in Janet's honor may be made to Bridge Hospice or to the donor's choice.
