WALBRIDGE - James R. "Jamie" Cherry, 48, died Friday (May 29, 2009).
He enjoyed sports, including the Celtics and Yankees.
Mr. Cherry recited the rosary daily.
He was born June 8, 1960 in Toledo to Stephen and Gloria Cherry.
Surviving are three brothers, Carl, Steven and Thomas; and three sisters, Dawn Cherry, Joy Seckinger and Jackie Osstifin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Walbridge.
Visitation is today from 2 to 9 p.m. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, Walbridge, with a rosary service at 7 p.m.
