James M. McLaughlin, 65, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away at Hospice of Northwest Ohio on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Jimmy was born to James and Eileen (Puse) McLaughlin in Toledo on January 31, 1948.
He served in the U.S. Navy during Viet Nam. Jimmy was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2984 and the Rossford Eagles.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and going for car rides.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Christine; and brother, Jeffrey McLaughlin.
He is survived by sons, Brian and James M. II McLaughlin; daughter, Tammie Kerr; grandchildren, Michael McLaughlin and Samara Morris; sisters, Jacalyn (Fred) Morlock and Jerilyn Mercer; six nieces and nephews and companion, Caroline Kerr.
Friends and family may visit the Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, on Thursday, April 18, 2013 from 2 to 9 p.m. A veteran's service will take place at 7 p.m.
Visitation will start Friday at 10 a.m. with funeral services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
