James "Jim" Kale, 54, of Bowling Green, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014.
Jim was born in Bowling Green to the late John and Evelyn (Bowser) Kale.
Jim is survived by his son: Anthony (Molly) Kale of Maryville, Tennessee; sisters: Karen (Gary)
Kellermeier of Bowling Green, Ohio and Nancy (Tom) Weaver of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers: John (Amy) Kale
of Lebanon, Tennessee and Carl (Tina) Kale of Rudolph, Ohio; grandchildren: Logan and Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Kale.
Jim was a robot welder at Modine Manufacturing and a 1978 graduate of Bowling Green High School, where he
played on the hockey team. He received his Associate degree in Landscaping and Turf Management from
Owens Community College in 2003.
Jim was a lifetime member of the Bowling Green Eagles #2180 and a member of the Bowling Green Industrial
Golf League. Jim enjoyed travelling especially to the Dominican Republic, Cancun, Aruba and to
Tennessee.
Visitation for Jim will be on Saturday May 10, 2014 from 1 p.m. until the time of his Celebration of Life
service at 3:30 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box
648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
Memorial contributions in Jim’s honor may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North
Beauregard Street, Alexandria, VA 22311.
