Obituary-Photo-Weymer-HowardHoward V. Weymer, 86, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2013.
He was born in Sidney, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Margaret (Polhamus) Weymer. Howard married Rebecca Crawford on September 5, 1975 in Bowling Green and she survives.
Also surviving are his three sons: Gale Weymer of Pemberville, Bruce (Patti) Weymer of Weston and Gary Weymer of Bowling Green; four grandchildren: Scott Weymer, Amanda (Andrew) Spitler, Sean (Kristin) Weymer and Amy (Mark) Jeffers.
He was preceded in death by his two brothers: Paul and Richard Weymer.
Howard was a plant engineer for the Cain's Potato Chip Company in Bowling Green and proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II.
He enjoyed fishing in Lake Erie, hunting and traveling with Rebecca in their motor home especially to Pigeon Forge. Howard also enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a member of the American Legion Post 113 in Port Clinton.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.
Memorial Contributions may be gifted in Howard's honor to the charity of the donors' choice.
