Helene SheaHelene H. Shea, age 97, of Pemberville, OH, passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village, Pemberville, OH.

She was born on October 8, 1915 in Chaumont, France to William and Georgette (Coupat) Harrington.

Helene was a file clerk for the Taxation Department for the State of New York.

She was a member and Elder of the First Presbyterian Church and volunteered for Reading for Literacy both in Troy, NY.

Surviving Helene are: her son, Tracy (Jill) Shea of Columbus, OH, daughter, Marcia (David) Young of Bowling Green, OH, grandchildren, Jennifer (Anthony) Dzwonar of IN, Jessica (Kurt) YoungBrust of IN, Tracy Shea, great-grandchildren, David, Jacob, Elspeth, Adelaide, brother, Richard Harrington of NY, special niece, Sandra Reizen of Troy, NY, many nieces and nephews, great-niece, Rebecca (David) Gross and great-great-nephew, Benjamin Gross all of CT.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sons, George and John Shea.

A memorial service will be held on March 2, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Otterbein Portage Valley Retirement Village in the Bowlus Life Enrichment Center, 20311 Pemberville Rd., Pemberville, OH.

Officiating will be Rev's. David Young, Peter Johnston and Jessica YoungBrust. Interment will be at a later date in Elmwood Cemetery, Troy, NY.

Considerations for memorial contributions are: First Presbyterian Church, Troy, NY or Otterbein Portage Valley-Benevolent Fund.

Arrangements are being handled by the Marsh Funeral Home, Luckey, OH.
