Helen L. Sharp, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday, October 12, 2013.
She was born in Bloomdale, Ohio on June 11, 1927 to Lloyd and Freda (Lansky) Long. She married Glenn M. Sharp on August 29, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 1, 2000.
Helen worked as the Secretary/Treasurer for the Athletic Equipment Manager's Association for over 20 years. She was a graduate of Tiffin University, and loved spending time at Lake Erie with her family and was an avid fan for the Bowling Green State University Football and Basketball teams.
She is survived by her sons, Jim (Cheryl) of Pemberville, Joe (Shelly) of Bowling Green, grandchildren, Tyler, Evan, Jim, Mike, Caitlin Sharp and Kevin Ebersole.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Ebersole in 1993.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home. Reverend Scott Estep will officiate. Interment will follow in Weaver Cemetery, Bloom Township, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may given to the Glenn Sharp fund in care of BGSU.
