Harold M. Carpenter, age 96, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at
the Wood County Hospital.He was born on May 4, 1917 in Dunbridge, OH to Frank and Anna (Nevbauer) Carpenter.
On October 1, 1941 he married Agnes Bruce in Dunbridge, OH and she preceded him in death on May 11,
2003.Harold was a lifelong farmer, worked for Modine Manufacturing, Pemberville, and drove school bus for
Eastwood School District.He was a member of Dayspring Assembly of God, Bowling Green, OH. His former
memberships included: volunteer fireman for Middleton Twp. Fire Dept. for 30 years and past President for
Gleaner’s Life Insurance Society.Harold is survived by his daughters: Zoe Mae Pfouts of Bowling Green and
Barbara (David) Frankforther of Perrysburg; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.He was preceded
in death by his parents; wife: Agnes; infant son: Stewart; son-in-law: Robert Pfouts; special friend: Ginny
Hipp; brothers: George and Charles; sisters: Ida Keifer, Violet Carpenter, Mary Duty, Bertha Carpenter,
Lovina Rumsey and Dorothy Carpenter.Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 from 2
to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, Ohio. Funeral services
will be conducted on Wednesday, November 27, 2013 at 11 a.m. from Dayspring Assembly of God, Bowling Green,
OH where there will be additional visitation from 10 a.m. until service time. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry
Hunt. Interment will be in New Belleville Ridge Cemetery, Dowling, OH.There will be a bereavement luncheon
served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services.Memorial contributions may be
