Glen R. Frey, 72, of Bowling Green, Ohio died on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
He was born December 7, 1940 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Otway and Rose (Weis) Frey. He married Dorothy Walls on August 19, 1972 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. She predeceased him on February 21, 2010.
He is survived by their son, Kurt Frey.
Glen received his Ph.D. in climatology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison & Milwaukee, and taught atmospheric sciences as an associate professor of geography at BGSU for 38 years until his retirement in 2006.
Visitation hours will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 6th at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in Bowling Green's Historical District at 408 West Wooster Street. Services will be private with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Glen's name to support the Department of Geography at BGSU, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
