George Brink, Sr., 77, of Rudolph, passed away at 1:38 p.m. on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the
Wood County Hospital.He was born on July 27, 1936, in Wingston, OH, to the late Lester E. and Jessie
(Arnold) Brink. He married the love of his life, Erma Hainer on June 24, 1961, and she survives.George is
also survived by his sons: Ray Brink of Toledo and George (Gloria) Brink, Jr. of Rudolph; his daughter,
Cindy (Marty) Brink-Mills of Pickerington, OH; his former daughter-in-law, Sonya Brink of Toledo; his
sister, Lois Ebersole of Bowling Green; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Bockbrader and Thelma Goeminne of
Rudolph; his grandchildren: Ryan Brink, Summer Brink, Mikaela Brink, Sarah Mills and Sam Mills; several
nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Sandy Pup.George was a hard working farmer and retired as a manager
from Midwood Inc., working in North Baltimore and lastly in Bowling Green. He also formerly worked for
Daybrooks, Henry Filter, Hayden Transport Tanks and was also a welder.He was a U.S. Army veteran, and was
honored and proud to serve our country.George loved woodworking, tractors, farm equipment and B.G.S.U.
women’s basketball, but his greatest love in life was his friends and family.A funeral service will be held
at 1 p.m., Monday, December 23, 2013, at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, with Pastor Larry
Garzony officiating. Burial will be in Wingston Cemetery, Liberty Township, where full military rites will
be conducted by the North Baltimore American Legion Post 539.Visitation will be held Monday, 2 hours (11
a.m. – 1 p.m.) prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the American
