Francis "Boots" Heinze, 88 of Bowling Green, Ohio died Thursday, January 7, 2010.
Francis was born to the late Fred and Anna Laura (Brunhauer) Heinze. He married Marguerite May Herr on October 3, 1942 in Bowling Green, Ohio and she survives.
Also surviving are three daughters: Barbara Shepard of Tecumseh, Michigan; Mrs. Richard (Mary Lou) Dieter of Bowling Green, Ohio; and Mrs. Ray (Betty Lou) Anderson of Pickerington, Ohio; three sisters: Lucille Lamott of Fort Wayne, IN; Loritta Bergmooser of Sylvania; Dorothy Amon of Perrysburg; five brothers: Howard and John of Toledo; Dick of Maumee; Don of Sylvania; and Tom of Napoleon; 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Boots proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII.
He also worked as a Finish Carpenter for over 55 years.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402; Tele: 419/352-2171.
The Funeral Mass will be Monday, January 11, 2010 at 1 p.m. in the St. Aloysius Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Aloysius Catholic Church or the Wood County Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels.
