Sposato, Ernest P. Jr., 83, of Bowling Green, peacefully passed away surrounded by his beloved family on Tuesday, March 19, 2013.
He was born May 9, 1929 in Lorain, Ohio to Ernest Sr. and Sophia (Campana) Sposato, who both preceded him in death. He married Neva Guthrie on August 30, 1952 and she survives in Bowling Green. They were married for 60 years.
Ernie worked for the Bowling Green City Schools as the district's Business Manager. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, aviation, books, history and dominos at the Wood County Senior Citizens Center. He was an extremely active member of the Bowling Green Community.
Ernie is survived by his wife, Neva, daughter, Suzanne Scantlan of Bowling Green, son, Jeffery (Paula) Sposato of Houston, Texas, son, Ernest Paul Sposato III (Rich Matkins) of Portland, Oregon, and daughter, Jean Marie Kulik (Dan) of Brunswick, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer (Pijor) Burger (Tim), Joshua Pijor, Julianna (Sposato) Keller (Mike), Katherine (Sposato) Novotney (Jared), Anthony Sposato, Andrew Sposato, Nicholas Kulik (Julia), Jessica Kulik and one great-grandchild Annabella Keller.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 11:30 to 1:30 at the DUNN FUNERAL HOME, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the Wood County Senior Citizens Center.
