Elaine Ritz, 88, of Bowling Green, passed away Friday, March 22, 2013.
Elaine was born in Toledo, Ohio, to the late George and Lee (Reynolds) Ritz.
Elaine is survived by her nephews: Nathan WL. Boyle of Bowling Green, Jeffrey (Margaret) Ritz, Douglas Ritz of North Carolina; a niece, Denise (Rick) Gregory of North Carolina; great-nephews and nieces: Baden Gregory, Jackson Ritz, Raleigh (Rodney) Bame, Suzanna Burris; great-great-nephews: Benjamin Boyle and Barron Bame; and great-great-nieces, Victoria Boyle and Bennett Bame. Also surviving Elaine is her close family: Marilyn Flick, Donald (Lorraine) Flick, Debra (Jeffrey) Pinchoff, Annette (Thomas) Teet, Destry (Beth) Flick, Dillon, Grant and Rebekah Flick; Briana (Joshua) Reithmeier, Drew (Crystal) DeVore and Chelsey DeVore , Jenna Teet and Neil (Linda) Flick.
She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Eileen Campbell, her brother, Jack and her niece, Karen Campbell.
Elaine was a proud graduate of Whitney Vocational High School.
She was employed with the Toledo Edison Company where she worked in the Lineman Department.
Elaine was a life member of the Walter Weller American Legion Auxiliary. Elaine attended St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Bowling Green. In 2012, Elaine was appointed to the Transit Board in Bowling Green.
Elaine was very devoted to her family; she loved attending family reunions as well as other family events. Elaine was very outgoing, she befriend anyone she came in contact with, and always brought with her a smile.
Visitation for Elaine will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., PO Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402; Tele: 419/352-2171. Elaine's Funeral Service will be on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at 10 a.m. in Remembrance Chapel of the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Toledo Memorial Park.
