In her spare time she enjoyed flower gardening, crocheting, sewing, baking and entering bake goods and flowers in the Wood County and Pemberville Fairs. She spent many hours at Otterbein Portage Valley planting and tending the flowers at the residence entrance and playing cards with the residents. Elaine is survived by her children: Tom (Pam) Moenter of Columbus, Mary (Ken) Thompson II of Cincinnati, Mike (Judy) Moenter of Pemberville, OH; nine grandchildren; brother: Paul (Nancy) Oestreich; sisters: Joanne (Bill) Cole, Mae Gardner, Connie (Don) Fleming, Sharon (Mike) Fisher; and sister-in-law: Florence Moenter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother: Donald Oestreich. Family and friends will be received on Friday, November 16, 2012 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. from Zion Lutheran Church, Luckey, OH, with additional visitation from 10 a.m. until time of services. Officiating will be Pastor Matthew Deames. Interment will be in Troy Twp. Cemetery, Luckey. There will be a bereavement luncheon served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services. Considerations for memorial contributions are Zion Lutheran Church or Troy Webster American Legion Auxiliary Post #240 for their Girl's State Program.
