Eileen Catherine Faehnle, 89, of Perrysburg, Ohio died March 11, 2014 at Kingston Residence of
Perrysburg.
She was born July 22, 1924 in Columbus, Ohio, to Henry and Catherine (McQueen) Imwalle.
She attended St. Mary’s of the Spring school class of 1942 in Columbus. On Oct. 27, 1949 she married
Eugene H. Faehnle
Eileen is survived by daughter, Mary Ellen (Jim) Milliron of Lancaster, Ohio, sons Bill (Donita) Faehnle
of Perrysburg, Mike (Connie) Faehnle of Sylvania Ohio, John (Jane) Faehnle of Perrysburg, Dan (Pansy)
Faehnle of Fairfield, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters
Grace Clear and Joanne Sullivan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Eugene H. Faehnle, two brothers and two sisters.

Eileen had a unique personality and a wonderful sense of humor. Her interests included gardening and
music (especially when attending her son’s shows). Eileen was an avid sports enthusiast; she especially
enjoyed tennis and played competitively for many years.
Most importantly Eileen loved her family and her Catholic faith.
Friends and family may call upon Eileen’s family Friday, March 14, 2014 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peinert Dunn
Funeral Home, 6603 Providence St., Whitehouse, Ohio.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg.
