Ruth-Crockett-obitDr. Ruth E. Creps-Crockett, affectionately known as "Mother Ruth," made her earthly transition on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at 4:27 a.m. in the comfort of her home in Miami, Florida.
Ruth was born November 22, 1930 to the late Harry and Ruth Creps of Milton Center, Ohio.
Surviving immediate family are two sisters, Eunice Heidrich (spouse Conrad Heidrich) of Findlay, Ohio, Sue Anna Haskell (spouse Roger Haskell) of Vero Beach, Florida, and one brother, Jim Creps (spouse and God-daughter, Sharon Creps) of Marysville, Ohio, and Rachel Lashaway, (a special sister) of Weston, Ohio, and nephews and nieces who will remember fondly the visits from "Aunt Ranie" at holidays and weddings.
Ruth was the founder and overseer of the Miami, Florida, "I Love You Jesus Ministry."
Those Ruth leaves behind to carry on the legacy are D. Levon Williams, LaVanya C. Kelly, Jerome and Andrea Jamison, Diana Dozier (personal caretaker), Mechelle N. Hayes (Edward) and John Manzi (God-son), special friends, the church family, God-children, and all those who knew her.
Funeral services will be held in Miami, Florida. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at Bethel Cemetery in Rudolph, Ohio.
Local arrangements are entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay, Ohio.
