Dorothy I. Davis, 74, of Bowling Green and formerly of North Baltimore, died at 6:45 a.m. Tuesday,
December 31, 2013 at Wood Haven Health Care, Bowling Green.
She was born on May 26, 1939, in Cygnet, OH, to the late Clifford and Miriam J. (Duesler) Sterling. She
married Kenneth Cotterman and they were divorced. She later married William L. Davis on February 14,
1978, and he preceded her in death on March 22, 2001.
Dorothy is survived by her sons: Randy (Lora) Cotterman of Cygnet and Sam Cotterman of Bowling Green; her
daughter, Mary (Danny) Yeager of West Hamlin, WV; her stepson, Scott Davis of Toledo; her stepdaughter,
Sherry (Aaron) Martin of Toledo; her sister, Gerry (Roger) Shoop of Findlay; her grandchildren, Jarred
(April) Yeager, Lila (Joe) Dotson, Steve Cotterman, Sam (Rebecca) Cotterman, Jodi Cotterman, Randy
(Jenna) Cotterman II, Ryan Morgan, Ron (Amanda) Morgan and Jimmy Davis; her great-grandchildren, Olivia,
Taylor and Macy.
She was preceded in death by her son, Rick W. Cotterman; her brothers, Bud, Joe, Pete, Harold and
Clarence Sterling; her sisters, Lilly Harris, Winifred Edwards, Mert Kepling and Josephine Sterling.
Dorothy had worked as a seamstress.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 3, 2014, in Custar Cemetery, Milton Township,
with Pastor William Best officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore.
