Donavin "Don" Trumbull, 79, of Bowling Green, passed away Saturday, October 26,
2013.Don was born in Weston, Ohio to the late Kenneth "Spiv" and Helen (Stoddard) Trumbull. He
married Nancy (Coates) Bercaw on August 27, 1977 and she survives in Bowling Green.Also surviving Don
are his two daughters: Vicki Emans of Cape Coral, Florida and Karen Trumbull ofCalifornia; stepsons:
R.W. "Bill" (Vera) Bercaw of Disputanta, Virginia and Michael Bercaw of Norwalk, Ohio;
grandchildren: Shannon (Frank) Roberts, Shawn (Trisha) Woods, Kevin (Audra) Trumbull, Sarah and
Elisabeth Bercaw; four great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren; sister: Janet (Ned)
Challen of Whitehouse; nephews: Steve (Diana) Challen and Kent (Janice) Challen and great-nephew, Dan,
and a host of cousins and special friends.Don was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Waterville and
also attended St. Marks Lutheran Church in Bowling Green.Don was a 1952 graduate of Grand Rapids High
School, where he was on the 1951 State Championship Basketball team. He was a member of the Grand Rapids
Volunteer Fire Department and the Alva Sidle American Legion Post # 232 in Grand Rapids and the Bowling
Green Elks Club.Don was in the United States Air Force.Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting and
camping. He loved spending his winters in Florida and driving his golf cart.A Celebration of Life
Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 11 a.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME &
CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402.A luncheon will follow in the
