Donald D. Roberts, 66, of Columbus and formerly of North Baltimore, died at 7:29 a.m. on Monday, June 11, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus. He was born in Findlay, Ohio on May 17, 1946 to Marion and Marcile (Agnes) Roberts. Don is survived by his mother, Marcile Feehan of North Baltimore, two sisters; Diana "Dee" Gazarek of North Baltimore, Sharon Rice of Midland, MI, four nieces; Lisa (Phil) Sanders, Lora Irvin, Susan Whitticar, Leslie Gazarek, one nephew Robert (Jolyn) Buchanan, six great-nieces and nephews and his beloved dog, Tucker. He was preceded in death by his father. Don was a 1964 graduate of North Baltimore High School. He attended Andrew's Barber College in Toledo and then earned his Bachelor's Degree from the University of Toledo. Don owned the Don Roberts Allstate Insurance Agency in Hilliard, Ohio before retiring last year. He loved dancing and spending time with his beloved dog, Tucker. Don also enjoyed reading, golfing and skiing. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, North Baltimore, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at SMITH-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, with Rev. Bob Neuhard officiating. Burial will follow in New Maplewood Cemetery.
