Claude E. Baird, 81, of Bloomdale passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Hancock County, OH on November 28, 1931 to the late Claude and Erma (Baker) Baird. On July 20, 1953 he married Shirley Ann Pierce and she preceded him in death on June 14, 2007.
Claude proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a farmer and also worked at Kuss Corporation and Garwood Industries.
He is survived by his daughter, Debra (Homer) Johnson of Maryville, TN., granddaughter, Christina (Danny) Wilburn and grandson, Jason Bretz both of Maryville, TN, four great-grandchildren; Chase, Kyle, Shawn, Ashley and two sisters.
The family would like to give a special thank you to his sister-in-law Nancy (Gary) Woodruff for all of their help and support.
Claude's wish was to have no service.
