Christopher Allen White, 46, a resident of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 5.
Chris was born on August 12, 1965, in Lansing, Michigan. He was the son of Allen and Micki White, formerly of Bowling Green.
A 1984 graduate of Bowling Green High School, Chris also attended Lord Fairfax Community College in Middletown, Virginia, and Bowling Green State University. Chris was a talented carpenter who worked in the northwestern Ohio region.
Chris was also an avid sports enthusiast who enjoyed everything from fishing and hunting, to football, softball and baseball. A defenseman, Chris was best known for playing hockey, and was particularly proud of being part of the Bowling Green High School hockey team that won the State Championship in 1984. He also enjoyed coaching young hockey players, and fondly remembered working with Bantam hockey teams and even taking a team to Scandinavia for a tournament.
Chris is lovingly remembered by his family and friends. He is survived by his mother, who currently resides in Virginia; his daughter, McKenzie Marie White, of Bowling Green; his sister, Kimmarie White Lewis of Virginia; his brother, Antony Roman White of North Dakota; and his nieces and nephews, Travis James Lewis, Chad Allen Lewis, Jessica Anne Lewis, Alex White; and his great nephew, Bryant William Lewis.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Chris’s life on Tuesday, July 10, at DUNN FUNERAL HOME, 408 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green At 10:30A.M. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m.
