Cheryl_Foltz-obitCheryl Anne Foltz, 65, of Bowling Green, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2012, at her home.
Cheryl was born on November 26, 1946 to Donald and Virginia (Graf) Mourdock in Lucas County, Ohio. Cheryl married Jerry Foltz on February 6, 1976.
Cheryl and Jerry were the owners of the Ole Butcher Shop for 15 years. They are also the owners of The Sundae Station which they established in 2000. Cheryl always loved being at the store and seeing all of her friends.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jerry Foltz, sister, Barbara (Allen) Limes, brother, Larry (Carol) Mourdock, her children, Stephen (Terri) Bateson, Robin (Cory) Kiewatt, Jamie Foltz, Lisa (Jeff) Hall, and Lori (Steve) Rea; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Cheryl was a 1964 graduate of Otsego High School. She was a member of Haskins Community Church, and the Xi Gamma Kappa Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.  
Her favorite past times were traveling and spending time with family and friends. She also loved fulfilling her life long dream of owning an ice cream shop.
Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the DUNN FUNERAL HOME 408 West Wooster St. located in the Historical District of Bowling Green. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at DUNN FUNERAL HOME. Rev. Scott Estep will officiate.
Burial will be held at Union Hill Cemetery.  
Memorial contributions in Cheryl's memory can be made to the Ronald McDonald House of Central Ohio. Her family plans to establish a room at the Ronald McDonald House in her honor. Donations can me made to RMHC of Central Ohio, 711 E. Livingston Ave. Columbus, OH 43205.

Jerry and Family, This is SO hard to believe. Sympathy to you and the entire family. Cheryl was an Otsego classmate and still a friend. She will be missed very much by all who knew her!

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your wife, Jerry. Phyllis and Dan have told me what a wonderful person she was. I know this is a great loss but with the help of time and prayer, you will be able to rest knowing that she is at peace. Many prayers going up for you, Jerry.
