Carolyn Buchhop, 70, of rural Napoleon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2012 at the Henry County Hospital.
She was born November 29, 1941 in McClure to the late Carl and Gae (King) Wiemer. On April 26, 1976, she married Roger Buchhop at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Ridgeville Corners.
Carolyn worked at ITT Automotive for over 30 years, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Napoleon Township.
She grew up on a farm and loved working outside. She just loved to watch things grow; after all that is what farmers do. She loved painting on wood and collecting antiques.
She is survived by her loving husband, Roger, sister, Geraldine Wiemer of Napoleon, step children; Andrew and Jennifer Buchhop, and 3 grandchildren, Jordan, Jaden, and Qwynn.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marceil Sheely, and brothers, Carl and Brice Wiemer.
Funeral services at Rodenberger Funeral Home, McClure and burial at Hockman Cemetery will be held privately.
The family suggest memorials be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Napoleon Township Church.
Online condolences may be made at www.rodenbergerfuneralhome.com.
