Carolyn Ann Baker, age 61, of Fostoria, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday (February 18, 2013).
She was born on December 2, 1951 in Meadow Bridge, West Virginia to the late Charles A. and Anna Mae (Fox) Burdette.
She married Floyd A. Baker Jr. on April 2, 1968 in Cottageville, West Virginia and he passed away on January 13, 1994.
Surviving are special companion, Sam Young of Fostoria; Son, Floyd A. Baker III of Fostoria; Daughters, Shanna (Larry) Smith of Jacksboro, Tennessee, Tina (Tim) Swartz of Fostoria; Brother, Larry (Diana Dibling) Burdette of Fostoria; Sisters, Melissa (Robert) Allen of Louisville, Kentucky, Angela Huddleston of Ravenswood, West Virginia; Grandchildren, Brittany, Roy, Cody, Johnathon, Floyd IV, Xavior, Genesis, Harley and Kurtis.
She was preceded in death by her Husband, Floyd; Parents, Charles and Anna; Son, Donald Lee Baker; Brother, Curtis Burdette; Sisters, Wilma Surbaugh and Shirley Burdette.
Carolyn was a caregiver and homemaker for many years. She was a former member of the Freewill Baptist Church in Luckey, and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.
Friends will be received Wednesday (February 20, 2012) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Barndt Funeral Home in Wayne, Ohio.
Memorial donations may be made to Community Hospice Care in Tiffin.
