Bonnie-rowles-obitBonnie (Hinds) Rowles-Balero, of Helotes, Texas and formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013, at her residence, surrounded by her family and friends.
Bonnie was born in Toledo, Ohio to the late Hartley and Florence (Long) Hinds. She married Manuel M. Balero on September 14, 1982 and he survives in Helotes, Texas.
Along with her husband Manuel, Bonnie is survived by her three daughters: Sandra G. Abromitis of Savanna, North Carolina; Susan Spiess, and Sally Green, both of Bowling Green, Ohio; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by a daughter: Sherry Lynn Minor; four brothers and four sisters.
Bonnie worked for the Kroger Store as a cashier.
She enjoyed dancing, reading, traveling, taking road trips and spending time with her friends and family at various casinos and having a Stoley's. Bonnie also enjoyed gardening, listening to country music and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, but most of all Bonnie loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Bonnie will be held Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 12 noon until the time of her Celebration of Life Service at 1 p.m. in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY REMEMBRANCE CHAPEL, 1460 W. Wooster Street/P.O. Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Tele: 419-352-2171.
A social gathering will immediately follow the service in the DECK-HANNEMAN REMEMBRANCE BANQUET HALL.
Memorial Contributions in Bonnie's honor may be given to the family c/o the Deck Hanneman Funeral Home.
