Evelyn J. Hoodlebrink Smith, 88, of Fostoria, formerly of Wayne, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
She was predeceased by her first husband of 31 years, Clarence H. Hoodlebrink and their infant daughter, Debbie; her second husband of 30 years, C. Ray Smith; and her sister, Lucille Emch.
Evelyn was a graduate of Webster High School in Stony Ridge. A loving wife, mother, and devoted homemaker, she later joined her husband, Clarence, in operating their meat market and grocery, Hoodlebrink's Market in Wayne.
Several years after the untimely death of Clarence in 1978, she met and was blessed with a happy marriage to C. Ray Smith, of Fostoria.

Patricia-Davis-Obituary-PhotoPatricia Louise (Doak) Davis, 71, of Weston, Ohio, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2013.
Patricia was born in Washington, Pennsylvania to the late Clarence M. and Rose (Kania) Doak.
Patricia is survived by her sons: Kent (Amy Ickes) Davis, of Oak Harbor, Ohio; Kirk Davis, of Columbus, Ohio; a sister: Phyllis Foringer, of Washington, Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Patricia Rose Davis, Kirk Davis Jr., and Jacob Johnson.
Patricia was a graduate of Trinity High School in Washington, Pennsylvania.
After graduating high school, Patricia went on to work for the United States Government as a secretary in Washington, D.C. Patricia later moved to Ohio and raised her children in Weston, Ohio.
She worked in the Radiology Department at the Wood County Hospital as a Radiology Transcriptionist for 31 years up until her retirement on December 3, 2013.

Sharninghouse-Dennis-KBFHDennis Z. Sharninghouse, 58, of North Baltimore, Ohio, died at 1:01 p.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay.
Dennis was born on April 17, 1955 to the late Donald Edward and Frances E. (Batdorff) Sharninghouse in Findlay. He married Lisa Mehaffey on January 31, 1976, and she survives in North Baltimore.
Also surviving are: son, Jeremy Z. (Robyn) Sharninghouse of Bowling Green; grandson, Jackson Z. Sharninghouse, son, Joshua D. (Sara) Sharninghouse of Van Wert and one granddaughter and one grandson, and son, John Thomas Sharninghouse of North Baltimore; two brothers, David Sharninghouse of Findlay and Darren (J.C. Stafford) Sharninghouse of Atlanta; a sister, Deborah (Dean) Armagost of Las Vegas, NV; mother-in-law, Leah Mehaffey of Findlay.

Martha Brenner, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio and formerly of Youngstown, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 9, 2013.  
Martha was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to the late Jacob Paul and Helen Louise (Thompson) Brenner.
Martha is survived by her nieces: Maggie Kalmar, of Bowling Green, Ohio; Sara Brenner, of Madison, Wisconsin; nephews:  Charlie Brenner, of Zanesville, Ohio; Paul Brenner, of Rocky River, Ohio; sister-in-law: Dorcas Brenner, of Bowling Green, Ohio; and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews.
Private graveside services will be held in the Tod Homested Cemetery, Youngstown, Ohio.

Oakley Malone, 92, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Wood County Hospital in Bowling Green, OH.
The Lawrence County native was born March 19, 1921, the son of the late Roy and Ella Phillips Malone. Oakley attended Decatur Schools.
He served as a proud veteran in the U.S. Army during W.W. II in the Pacific Theater.
He was retired as a machinist from Collins Mining Company after 37 years of service.
After retiring he moved to Bradner, Ohio, where his hobby was woodworking. His specialty was making children's rockers.
He was a member of Decatur Missionary Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: four brothers: Stacy, Harold, Clifford and Orville Malone; three sisters: Goldie Taylor, Myrtle Malone and Pearl Malone; a son: Ralph Salyers; and a son-in-law: Ronald DePriest.
