Obituary-Photo-Fern-SipeFern O. Sipe, age 101, of Bowling Green, Ohio, died Tuesday, February 4, 2014. Fern was born in 1912 to Henry and Myrtle Dauterman, and was a 1930 graduate of Bowling Green High School.
Upon her retirement in 1985 as Residence Director of YMCA of Newark, Ohio she returned to Bowling Green to be with her family and childhood friends.
She was an active member of the Village View Church of Christ and a member of its sewing and quilting group. She was a member of the BG Hospital Guild and the sewing ladies at the hospital; the BG Senior Club at the Senior Center; the Portage Center Arbor of Gleaner Life Insurance Company; and she received two Community Service Awards from Gleaners.
She had a musical family and always enjoyed the music jam sessions. She had a great time playing cards with her many friends. She also enjoyed sewing and quilting and supplied her friends and family with many beautiful quilts and wall hangings.

Becky-KasperzakBecky Swaney Kasperzak passed away on February 2nd, 2014 at her home in Perrysburg, Ohio.
Born to Gordon and Irene Swaney in Archbold, Ohio on Thanksgiving Day, November 28, 1957, Becky attended and graduated from Maumee Valley Country Day School and Skidmore College. She moved to Boston shortly after college where she married her childhood sweetheart and best friend, Dean Kasperzak. Together they returned to Ohio to start a family and had two daughters, Hannah and Maude.
Becky loved - and obsessed over - preparing elaborate meals for her friends and family and even for a pet or two. She tasted her way around the world, and for 15 years in a row she was the hostess of Toledo's 'Taste of the nation' kickoff party benefitting Share Our Strength's cause to eliminate childhood hunger.

Dorothy Ann Sunderman, 85, of Deshler, Ohio died Monday afternoon, February 3, 2014 at Heritage Corner Health Care Campus, Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was born June 11, 1928 in Custar, Ohio to the late Raymond and Josephine (Walerius) Wilhelm. On September 30, 1969 she married Arnold Sunderman and he preceded her in death on October 8, 1999. She was previously married to Joseph Junk and they were divorced.
Dorothy worked as the secretary at Wild Wings Marina, Oak Harbor, Ohio, retiring in 1993.
She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Deshler and Norcross-Meyers American Legion Post #305 Auxiliary, Custar.

sj-williams-obitSharon Jean Williams, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on February 2, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg.
Sharon was born, October 1, 1936, in Toledo, Ohio to Gladys and Eugene Davis. She grew up in East Toledo and Perrysburg. Sharon graduated from Perrysburg High School and attended Owens Community College.
Sharon was employed by several day care centers in the area, including Masters Little Ones at Lutheran Church of the Master.
Sharon was preceded in death by her mother, father, and stepmother Clara Davis, brother Eugene (Sonny) Davis, sister, Cynthia Davis, son Richard (Rich), and sister-in-law Jane Williams.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 57 years, Richard M. Williams. She is also survived by her daughter, Cheryl Williams; son Thomas (Kathy) Williams; brother Reynold (JoAnne) Davis; grandchildren, Thomas (Christine) Williams Jr., Amanda (Art) Becerra, and Ryan (Katrina) Williams; great-grandchildren, Madison and Nicholas Williams; brothers- in-law, Bill Williams and Robert (Nancy) Williams; and sister-in-law, Ellen Williams.

Julia Judy Eckelbarger Baker passed away Jan. 18, 2014, in Phoenix.
She was born in Bowling Green, May 22, 1945, to Harley and Irene Eckelbarger. She is survived by son, Greg; daughter, Julie; several grandchildren; mother, Irene Brown; brother, Thomas; and sisters, Penny and Gloria.
She will be missed.
