mary_jo_kline-obitHOYTVILLE - Mary Jo Kline, age 82 of Hoytville, died Saturday, November 23, 2013, 11:46 a.m. at Wood County Hospital.
She was born September 22, 1931 in Findlay to Clarence and Doris (Kelley) Self. On January 17, 1968 she married Irvin Kline in Kentucky and he survives.
Also surviving are her children, Jolynn Snyder of North Baltimore, Deb (Gene) Patterson of North Baltimore, Robert Snyder of Edminton, KY, Kelly Kline Phelps of Bellevue, and Hope (Mark) Moore of McComb. There are 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, Capt. William (Carolyn) Self of Lillington, NC.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jay Snyder; her parents; two brothers, Richard and Robert; and a daughter-in-law Sherrian Snyder.

H-Carpenter-Obit-PhotoHarold M. Carpenter, age 96, of Bowling Green, OH, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Wood County Hospital.
He was born on May 4, 1917 in Dunbridge, OH to Frank and Anna (Nevbauer) Carpenter. On October 1, 1941 he married Agnes Bruce in Dunbridge, OH and she preceded him in death on May 11, 2003.
Harold was a lifelong farmer, worked for Modine Manufacturing, Pemberville, and drove school bus for Eastwood School District.
He was a member of Dayspring Assembly of God, Bowling Green, OH. His former memberships included: volunteer fireman for Middleton Twp. Fire Dept. for 30 years and past President for Gleaner's Life Insurance Society.
Harold is survived by his daughters: Zoe Mae Pfouts of Bowling Green and Barbara (David) Frankforther of Perrysburg; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Izzie-Helm-Obit-PhotoIsabell "Izzie" Helm, age 88, of Luckey, OH, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, OH.
She was born on November 26, 1924 in Toledo, OH to Claude and Katherine (Ochs) Bodey Sr. On August 7, 1948 she married Arlington "Art" Helm in Bellevue, OH and he survives.
Izzie was a secretary for the Wood County Clerk of Courts, Bowling Green, OH.
Her memberships included: Zion United Methodist Church and Troy-Webster American Legion Auxiliary Unit #240, both of Luckey, and the Eastern Stars.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her.
Izzie is survived by her loving husband of 65 years: Arlington "Art"; sons: Denis (Barb) Helm of Luckey, Robert Helm of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Brad (fiancé: Brooke Andreatta) Helm of Luckey, Kerry (Nate) Fatzinger of Bowling Green, Amy (Joe) Miller of Woodville; great-grandchildren: Dane and Drew Fatzinger and several nieces and nephews.

Phillip L. Ameling, 74 of Helena, passed away at St. Charles Mercy Medical Hospital in Oregon on November 22, 2013. Phillip was born on June 7, 1939 to George and Helen (Hudson) Ameling.
In June of 1960, Phillip enlisted in the U.S. Army. He married Lois Depner in December of 1960 in Woodville, Ohio. She passed away in March of 1999. On August 2, 2003, he married Carol Weddell-Miller in Helena.
Phillip worked for Martin Marietta, retiring in 2002.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and the Eagles. He enjoyed playing pool.
