Nora-Root-Obit-PhotoNora B. Root, age 77, of Perrysburg, OH passed away on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg Unit.
She was born on October 9, 1936 in Mt. Vernon, AR, to Barney and Charity (Lusty) Pate. On February 26, 1955 she married Duane Root, in Perrysburg, OH and he survives.
Nora worked for E.B. Brown Optical in Northwood, OH as an Optician.
She was a member of Hope In Christ Community Church, Perrysburg, OH. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, crafting, quilting, crocheting and gardening.
Nora is survived by her husband: Duane of Perrysburg, children: Michael (Robin) Root, Karen (fiancé: Carl Hahn) Harris, Lynn (Jeffery) Smith, all of Perrysburg, grandchildren: Sarah Schulte, Christopher Neff, Brent Neff, Chad Neff, Amanda VanNess, Samantha Smith, nine great-grandchildren, sister: Dorothy (Harold) Searcy of Mt. Vernon, AR, brother: Barney "Sonny" (Sheila) Pate of Dallas, TX and many loving nieces and nephews,

Adler-Sally-obitSally A. Adler, 75, of Rudolph, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 in Bowling Green. She was born November 25, 1938 in Rudolph, Ohio to Arnold and Edith (Jimison) Gonyer. She married James E. Adler in 1957 and he preceded her in death in 1988.
Sally worked for many years for Bowling Green City Schools as a Bus Driver, retiring in 2002.
She was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church Bowling Green, Holiday Ramblers of Northwest Ohio, and was an avid follower of Professional Bull Riding.
She is survived by her son, Mark (Cindy) of Rudolph, daughters, Jill Shriner of Bowling Green, Gail (Lynn) Adler of Rudolph, brother, Tom (Kay) Gonyer of Lake City, Florida, grandchildren, Nicole (Mike) Ziegler of Deshler, Michael Shriner (Kayla Carter) of Swanton and several nieces and nephews.

E-James-lindsay-obitLAKELAND, Fla. - E. James "Jim" Lindsay, 83, died peacefully Thursday, May 8, 2014 at home with Hospice due to complications of cancer.
Born Ellsworth James Lindsay September 16, 1930, the only child of Clare and Addah B. Lindsay in Hillsdale, Michigan.
Jim attended Hall of the Devine Child before attending High School in Hillsdale. After high school, he served one year in the US Army before attending Bowling Green State University where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity on a 4-year athletic scholarship for basketball.
While attending BGSU he met his wife of almost 52 years, the late Patricia Jane Kober Lindsay. They were married in August 1953 and made Bowling Green, Ohio their home.
Jim enjoyed college athletics and often was a local radio commentator for High School football and baseball games. Jim coached little league and was a 50-year member of the Masons in Hillsdale.

Raydene-Dean-obitRaydene Dean, age 82, of Bradner, Ohio passed away on Friday (May 16, 2014) at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. She was born on March 24, 1932 in Wayne to the late Ray P. & Elizabeth C. (Soufflet) Wagner. She married Hobart E. Dean on April 26, 1955 in Lebanon, Ohio and he passed away on February 28, 1999.
Surviving are sons, James Hobart (Karen) Dean of North Baltimore, Ohio, Dennis Leo (Barbara) Dean of Bloomdale, Ohio; daughters, Bonnie Elizabeth (Wayne) Pearce of Bradner, Ohio, Teresa Louise (Bruce) Corner of Wayne, Ohio; brother, Wallace (Mary Jo) Wagner of Wayne, Ohio; 11 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Bender.
Raydene was a 1950 graduate of Montgomery Local High School, and then worked as a homemaker for her family for many years. She was on the planning committee at Briar Hill in North Baltimore, and among her greatest loves in life were George Strait, her birds and cats, God, and most of all her family.

Scott A. Carpenter, age 38, of Rudolph, Ohio, died unexpectedly in his home Tuesday May 13, 2014.
He was born June 28, 1975 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Danny Carpenter Sr. and Rose (Wallace) O'Neal.
Scott worked as an automobile mechanic. He loved riding dirt bikes and motorcycle riding with his brother, Danny Jr. He also enjoyed time spent fishing with his kids.
Scott is survived by his parents, Danny Sr. and Rose O'Neal; stepfather, Robert O'Neal; children, Brittany, Madison and Jacob Carpenter; sister, Joyce (Ken) Schoenitz; brother, Danny, Jr. (Deadra) Carpenter; stepsisters, Emily and Michelle; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Scott was preceded in death by his infant brother, Jessie Thomas Carpenter.
